WHY SPROUTED COFFEE?
Every batch begins by sourcing the highest quality Organic & Specialty rated coffee beans.
1. BEFORE SPROUTING
Before Sprouting, these beans still hold natural acids, phytic compounds, and traces of contaminates like bacteria, mold and other toxic residues. The nutrients of the seeds are stable but dormant, and locked inside ready to be activated.
2. SOAK & ACTIVATE
The beans are soaked through a proprietary process. This awakens enzymes, loosens surface residue, and bitterness-causing compounds begin to dissolve. This is the Sprouted Coffee beans "first breath".
3. Sprouting Begins
Tiny life signs appear inside each bean. Enzymes break down Phytic Acid and release Amino Acids and Natural Sugars. Certain Water-Soluble Impurities are flushed away while nutrients activate.
4. NATURAL DETOX
During early Sprouting, metabolism of the coffee bean increases and it begins to expel built-up byproducts. This stage reduces Harsh Acids and Off Flavor, setting in for a smoother, lower-acid coffee.
5. Drying & Stabilizing
